Rave: Trish McEvoy Mascara

This has changed my life:
I can't really adequately describe this mascara.  All I can say is that if you get raccoon eyes halfway through the day, and your pillowcase is also riddled with mascara smudges, you need to try it.  Instead of using regular mascara ink stuff that bleeds and smears, this mascara is made out of... well... the only way I can describe it is that it is kind of like plastic (I think the lady at the make-up counter in Nordstrom used the word "polymer").  It sounds weird people, but let me tell you, it does not run.  It does not smear.  I can sleep in it all night and wake up and it is still on my eyelashes, not on my pillow. When you take it off (with just warm water- no eye makeup remover needed!), it comes off in tiny little balls of plastic-ey stuff, not in the traditional inky blackness.

I love it.  Raccoon eyes no more.

  1. Oh my god. I'm not kidding, I'm going to buy some TODAY. I can't even go into my long-running tale of mascara woe. The thought that it may have finally come to an end makes me want to cry a little bit from happiness.

  3. Macy's doesn't have it! I'll have to make a trip to Nordstrom's.

  4. Bought it. The BEST. I laid out by a pool in Vegas heat with this stuff on (yes, I washed the rest of my face first), and there were no smears. None. I love how it just falls off in little, lash-shaped bits when it washes off. And the best part? It ALL washes off with almost no effort. Miracle mascara. I'm telling everyone about it.

  6. Seriously, this mascara might be the best thing that has ever happened to me. First of all, it makes my eyelashes look awesome -- almost like I'm wearing fake eyelashes, but more natural. Also, I wore it through multiple events for my sister's wedding (during which I teared up constantly) and the mascara stayed put and didn't run -- this saved my life since there was not time to fix anything between the ceremony (tear city) and the wedding party pictures. Thanks for the recommendation! xoxo
